my heart goes out to j.
it looked like
the flu...but it wasn't
it was leukemia...
and three days later
her beautiful
13 year old
daughter
is gone...

A parent's worst nightmare...
My Dad's Mom lived to be 98; she lost her only daughter at 11 months old from pneumonia, then in her 80's my Dad and his older brother to cancer. After that she was never quite the same, and when you could get her to talk about what was bothering her, it was that parents aren't supposed to outlive their children.
I was always a bit overprotective of my sons because of this, and still worry constantly; grandchildren only intensify things.
I just can't imagine...
My heart goes out as well...
alan
i have goosebumps. my heart is pounding. my heart goes out to that poor mother and i wish her the strength she needs ...
it's hard
it reminds me of
all the tough times
life throws our way
it is a reminder to appreciate
every day...
